Bedroom
The air-conditioned bedroom is large and spacious with a super king-size 'bateau-lit' bed. There is ample storage in the large wardrobe, bedside cupboards, dressing table and chest of drawers. The double glazed French windows open onto the balcony and you can enjoy stunning views to the surrounding countryside, the sea and Cap d'Antibes. Red squirrels are a regular sighting in the Pine trees around the villa.
Bathroom
The bathroom has twin basins set in marble, a large walk-in shower and bidet. There is plenty of space under the marble top.
A hairdryer and towels are provided.
Heated towel rail (Seche Serviette).
There is a second separate toilet.
Garden, Terrace & Balconies
The Garden
The lower garden is planted with bamboo, palms, cactus and flowers indigenous to this region of the Côte d'Azur.
Walking from the terrace down the steps to the garden you have orange and lemon trees to the left and to the right stepping-stones to the wooden sun deck.
The sun deck has 2 sun loungers and a large umbrella. The view is to the sea and the surrounding countryside as far as L'Esterel. The other side of Cannes.
The garden is bathed in sunshine all day but offers privacy and is not overlooked in any way.
The Terrace
The terrace is around 80sq metres and has 2 large sun loungers. On the West side there is an area to sit with a small table to enjoy a glass of wine (or two).
The East side has a pergola with a large table and seating for 4 persons. The main terrace faces South and has the same views to the sea and countryside as the garden.
There is a fridge/freezer in the cave for easy access to your chilled drink of choice.
Balconies
Olivade has balconies from the villa to the South and the West. The South balcony is outside of the front room and the bedroom and is an ideal place to have breakfast or just sit and enjoy the magnificent view.
The West balcony is also the entrance to the villa. This is the place to watch the spectacular sunsets over the PréAlpes and L'Esteril.
Cycling
The Villa is equipped to cater for cyclists. Whether you are a weekend warrior or just looking for a leisurely ride into the mountains, as keen cyclists ourselves, we can help.
A large storage area has security for 2 or more bicycles. The bikes are secured to wall mounts with strong D locks and chains. A remote alarm surveys the whole storage area. The door is steel reinforced and built from solid wood. Triple bolt locks and a further 2 locked gates complete the security for your precious bikes.
